We chose our focus to be on Amy and Ashlee as the film demonstrates the close relationship they have, or had, and as the film's synopsis is of the younger sister Amy and her mentality towards the death of her older sister Ashlee, it lets the audience see how close they were and how much Ashlee was a key part of Amy's.
Just as much as we want to visualize representation through mise en scene (such as costume etc.), we wanted to focus our film more on the mentality of the characters - mostly Amy - and the struggles she faces through grief and depression. This short film focuses on mental health and therefore represents mind sets and real struggles following a death, and therefore mental representation is on par with physical representation of the characters.
