Organization of Actors-Jess Smith

Emily/Amy:

We have decided to use Tash's friend Emily Sharpe to playour protagonists, Amy. This is becasue she is a drama student and enjoys performing, therefore she was happy to help. She was also used for Tash's AS thriller opening film and she wroked very well and took direction well.

Hannah/Ashlee:

We are also using Emily's sister Hannah to play her sister Ashlee in the short film. We all decided that this would mean they could translate their real life, close, sisterly relationship onto the camera. The sisters also took similar, therefore will be realistic to the audience that they are sisters. Although Hannah is 15 and is younger than Emily, she will be playing the older sister becasue she looks more mature than her age.

Bullies: 

We plan on getting people together we know at college on the day of filming the classroom and corridor scenes. They won't need to be wearing a specific costume as the characters are in sixth form and the only dialogue they will need to say will just be simple, short insults that are easily rememberable.

Teacher:

We are going to use any member of staff that is around and has free time over the time period that we are filming in college. But this shouldn't be too hard to do becasue these shots are all short and the the teacher is only needed for a small number of them. 

We have arranged days and times that we are filming, as you can see below:

By arranging these dates to film different parts of the film it allows us to plan around them and give enough notice to our actors. We have decided to split the filming up so that we don't become overwhelmed with shots to film in one time. By spreading filming out it also allows us to have more time to think of any last minute ideas we have and any changes we want to make inbetween.
