InDesign Practise by Maria Beardall

As I have practise with Photoshop, and InDesign is also run by Adobe, I found it particularly easy to switch to the software. We looked at drawing boxes for pictures and text boxes, as well as placing in text with the right fonts and sizing. We linked boxes to preview text in them by clicking in sequence the boxes we wanted, then adding in latinate text from the options at the top of the software. We also lined up boxes, which clicked into place once symmetry was assumed by the software, and green lines indicated this. We also learnt how to twist text boxes, changed to italics, embolden text and create the first letter of the article to be elongated by 3. We also learnt about the format and image sizing needed to have the correctly sized image - to avoid pixilation etc.

This all contributed to showcase features to show that we understand the format of a typical Little White Lies film review, and that we can also adapt to present ourselves as part of the company to show we understand and can establish our techniques. These factors will all contribute to a correct and well made film review that we have to write and portray.
