The 7 stages consisted of:
1. Researching and analysing conventions of Little White Lies reviews
2. Writing down points we wanted to include in the review
3. Dividing the review into 3 parts and choosing a person for each section
4. Writing our individual review
5. Posting onto the blog
6. Editing our sections after receiving feedback
7. Maria copy and pasted everyone's section onto her phone and editing it as a whole product
8. Tash inserts the finished review onto our InDesign format and post onto the blog
-The first stage was very important because it was all based on researching how professionals write their reviews. From the language used, the punctuation and the overall style. As a group we wanted to ensure that we incorporated all of these factors into our review in order for it to be professional and sophisticated.
-Writing down all the points we wanted to include in the review at the start of the process has also made constructing it a lot easier. It's meant that we can cover every topic as a group in our individual sections, therefore giving us a good, informative end product.
-We then divided up the review into 3 sections so that it was equally written and not one group member had been put under too much pressure. Although it means that there are 3 different writing styles, we planned for Maria to analysise all three sections at the end, linking it together. We all also tried to write in the style of Little White Lies, therefore it wasn't too specific to us. We then decided that Maria should write the opening two paragraphs as she could speak well about our main actress and her previous experience, which lead well into me writing the middle section based on themes and issues. I wanted to write this section because I wanted to emphasise the important, current issue of bullying and loneliness that is very common today. Tash then wrote the ending section because she had good critical, as well as positive feedback, like a professional would.
-The writing was the most crucial part of this process, therefore we all constructed our sections as soon as we could so that we could get feedback from our supervisor, in order to make it better and having a final product.
-Each edit we did of our review we then posted onto separate blog posts so that each member had access to it.
-Maria then copy and pasted every part of our review onto her notes page on her phone and edited it so that each paragraph transitioned well into the next. We elected Maria to do this because she does English Literature and enjoys descriptive writing, therefore we trusted her to complete this job well.
-To finish this process, Tash inserted our final edit onto the Little White Lies layout that she designed and posted it onto the blog. Completing our three products.
